Transit Insurance

When things don't go as expected.

While we strive to deliver goods safely, accidents can happen in transit, leading to damage or loss. That’s where our transit insurance steps in.

We offer different coverage levels to suit your needs. All customers are automatically covered at level 1, with options to upgrade. Requests for higher coverage must be made before arranging transport.

Certain items may not be insurable for transport. Refer to the bottom of this page for excluded goods.

NOTE; these limits are specific to transportation within the United Kingdom. For transport outside the UK, the CMR convention will be in effect.

Basic Package – Up to £1,200 per tonne

This is the basic coverage provided by us.

Being a Logistics UK (formerly FTA) member, we adhere to their model conditions of carriage. This includes coverage of up to £1,200 per tonne or £400, whichever is higher. Consequential loss is limited to the carriage charges’ value.

Standard Package – Up to £29,900

Available at no cost upon request.

At no extra cost, we can arrange coverage to protect your goods at their entire value, up to a maximum of £29,900. This service is beneficial for valuable yet lightweight items like electronic equipment, where level 1 coverage may not be adequate.

Premium Package – Up to £99,900

Available upon request for an additional charge.

We can facilitate insurance coverage for your goods at their total value, up to a maximum of £99,900, with a corresponding fee. Feel free to request a quote for this service.

Require additional coverage?

Should your goods exceed £99,900 in value, we can explore acquiring specialized coverage for them. Kindly inform us if this applies, and we will endeavor to find suitable insurance for your needs.
